Yohantus Elaine Stephens joined NAP as Director of Development and Communications in December, bringing a breadth of marketing, fundraising and event-planning experience to the organization. Elaine Stephens has more than 10 years nonprofit and philanthropy experience in the arts, community development and program development.

She began her philanthropy career as volunteer for the March of Dimes, attracting corporate sponsorship of high-profile events such as a dinner honoring Hollywood producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer and a Celebrity Ski Bum tournament. More recently, Stephens was elected to serve on the board of directors of the Arts High Alumni Association, which involved work among three major stakeholders (Los Angeles County Office of Education, Arts High School and the Arts High Foundation). There, she was responsible for a range of development duties, including conceiving and producing the group’s inaugural Hollywood tribute event honoring Grammy-winner Josh Groban and Warner Brothers.
