Native Artists explores the lives and carreers of accomplished artists and resource gatekeepers from Minnesota's Native communities.

Despite remarkable creativity and great demonstrated skill, most Native atists in Minnesota have not received the respect, the attention, or the financial resources their cultural contributions merit.  The McKnight Foundation is pleased to support this report's research into multiple barriers Native artists face in developing their work.
